Lewisville police are seeking the public’s help to identify a man who allegedly assaulted a teenage girl recently.

Police said the 14-year-old exited her school bus in the 800 block of Lakeside Circle Sept. 24 when she noticed a suspicious vehicle nearby.

According to a news release issued by the department, as the teenager got closer to her apartment complex, a male exited a white, two-door vehicle and started walking towards her at a rapid pace, all while shouting, “Hey, come here!”

Police said the man eventually caught up with the teenager and grabbed her arm before he pulled down her shirt and made a sexually explicit comment towards her.

The teenager punched the alleged suspect in the face as he tried to push her to the ground. This, police said, knocked his glasses off. According to the release, he then picked up his glasses and ran off.

A composite was etched to show the alleged suspect in more detail. Police said the suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 30-35 years-old, medium build with dark hair. At the time of the alleged assault, the man was wearing glasses, dark green scrubs and black shoes.

Anyone with information related to this offense is asked to call the Lewisville Police Department’s Tip Line at 972-219-TIPS (8477) or Denton County Crime Stoppers at 800-388-TIPS (8477).
