Deputy Constable Ken Fuller, Pct. 1, remains in critical, but stable condition after a car crash in Montague County Saturday night.
Constable Jesse Flores, pct. 1, said that he didn’t have many details surrounding the incident other than his new hire crashed while driving his personal vehicle off-duty somewhere after 8 p.m. in Montague County.
“Right now, I am asking for thoughts and prayers for him and his family,” Flores said during a phone interview shortly after 1 a.m. Sunday. “I am hoping he is going to be okay.”
Flores said Fuller had to be transported by air ambulance to Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth because of his injuries.
“Due to HIPPA law I can’t say much else, but he is in critical but stable condition and his family is with him,” Flores said.
Fuller, officials said, was hired on back in July and appointed as a new deputy for the constable’s office.
“He is a good, hard worker and I will be checking in on him,” Flores said.
Further details aren’t immediately available, but Flores said the accident is under investigation by the Texas Department of Public Safety.
